COVID-19: UPDATE IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SERVICES
In view of the recent developments regarding opening up from national lockdown caused by the spread of COVID-19, and following the advice given by the government. The leadership of RCCG City of David, Cambridge is happy to announce that the Church is re-opening for physical gathering.
The Church is now open for physical gathering from Sunday, 16th of August 2020. However, our E-Service continues concurrently.
According to COVID 19 guildiance from the government, it is madatory for anyone attending the service to register before the Church service.

As advised by the government, we are advised to maintain social distancing of 1metre plus at all times. While in Church, please ensure that you have your face mask on always. It is important to please follow the different markings and rules displayed everywhere in the auditorium.
Note also that, Children are not allowed just yet to come to Church. Likewise, if you are still shielding or not feeling well, it is advisable that you continue to join our services online.
You are encouraged to please observe proper hygiene as advised and as can be seen below. Most importantly, encourage yourself in the word of God. You will not lose your loved ones; your loved ones will not lose you in Jesus name.
Reducing the Spread of Infection
Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Help Control the Virus
To protect yourself and others, when you leave home you must:
- wash hands - keep washing your hands regularly
- cover face - wear a face covering over your nose and mouth in enclosed spaces
- make space - stay at least a metre away from people not in your household.
If you are feeling unwell,get a test and do not leave home for at least 10 days.
In addition, please ensure that you:
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze;
- Throw all used tissues in the trash right away and wash your hands immediately after handling used tissues;
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth;
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick; and
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, such as your keyboard or mouse, using a regular household cleaning spray or wipes.
Common symptoms of COVID-19 include:
- Dry cough; and
- Shortness of breath.
- Note that symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.

If you develop symptoms or have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19, call your NHS line 111 or your GP.
The desire is that the church buildings may, where practical, remain open as places of prayer for the community, observing social distancing recommendations.
This is a rapidly changing situation. We will continue to provide you with guidance and updates as to how COVID-19 affects our organisation, including any expansion of the list of restricted travel areas as well as changes to working arrangements.
